tido mati.

Assalamualaikum.

ehem.

So as you all probably don't know, i'm the MC for today. yes, Sofia Hasnan akhirnye. After two months or maybe three, i finally became the MC. and with that i formally and sincerely apologize to everyone, because honestly i'm not a good speaker. So please forgive this newbie and lets pray for some improvement yeah? insyaAllah.

First up, congratulations, tahniah and bravo kpd uncle and Kak izzat. May you guys always be happy and bahagie. Ooooh, and a shout out to all yg dah finish exams. Woot! Marilah kite teros berstudy! yayyyyy. abdomen.

if you guys are hurting your brains wondering why this post is entitled 'tido mati', well, it has something to do with today's T&T.

Q:

Have you ever been told when you were young, and you were too small to even wonder about truths or lies, that when you sleep, you actually die? Is it true?

well, this is the answer:

"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought."

39:42 (surah az-zumar)

So yes, dear kids, it’s true. We die when we sleep. Apparently, not all cerite nenek moyang is rekaan semata-mata. So let this be a lesson.

Moving on, another ayat from surah az-zumar that really got to me is:

“Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them.

39:41 (surah az-zumar)

From this, we know that the only one responsible for all our doings whether it’s right or wrong is ourselves. It is up to us to make the right choices.

And then Kak Yana meneruskan usrah dgn Surah Al-Maun:

Terjemahan ayat:

Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.

Tahukah kamu (orang) yang mendustakan agama??

Itulah orang yang mengherdik anak yatim,

Maka celakalah bagi orang-orang yang solat,

7. وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ dan enggan (menolong dengan) barang berguna.

From this surah, Allah dh highlight the importance of hubungan sesama manusia. Orang yang mendustakan agama are those who bully the orphans and kedekot dengan orang miskin. When we look at it, we tend to think that it’s just a small matter, bullying orphans. But Allah has stressed out that memaki anak yatim is equivalent to you lying about Islam. Betapa Allah menyayangi anak-anak yatim.

However, this is only the terjemahan from the surface, in anatomical terms, superficial. If we care to look further into this, there’s an even deeper meaning behind this surah. Kak Yana gave us a few hints, and Alhamdulillah, Shahida Zahar got the message and understood. ‘Orang miskin’ boleh membawa dua maksud. One is, miskin as in no money, the second deeper meaning is that orang miskin ialah orang yang kurang dari segi kerohanian, ilmu, iman dll. In other words, dakwah.

And for the second ayat, let me explain it in mathematical terms. I think it’ll be easier to understand ^^;;

Usrah = family

Orphan = no family = no usrah

Sesungguhnya, Allah membenci golongan munafik.

Kak Yana ended the session with a very smart reminder. That is to THINK POSITIVE. BE OPTIMISTIC.

She said and I quote, “Our aim is not to mengelak azab neraka, but to masok syurga with as many people, acquaintances, etc as possible.”

So people, let heaven be in your minds always.

And so after that, it was Fatimah Hasmad’s turn to give the tazkirah. Tak sabo2 die. Kesian tunggu lame.

She talked about Talut Jalut. Perang Talut Jalut that is. I’m not too familiar with the story, but the most important thing in the story is the river scene.

Menurut Timah, Allah memberi ujian kepada orang-orang Yahudi yang ingin pergi berperang(Talut’s army). Sdg diorang penat berjln kat pdg pasir time summer, Allah pon buatlah sungai dekat situ. But Allah dah bagi amaran, bleh drink siket je just to save your lives, then leave the place. That’s the ujian. So from the thousands of soldiers, only siket je yang dapat resist temptation. And so only those few yg pegi berjuang, yang beribu lagi tu tibe2 dapat cold feet plak. Saying that they’ll never win against the other party(Jalut’s army). In the end, org Yahudi won the battle. Nabi Daud who was still a little boy at that time defeated Jalut.

So dari kisah ni, the river scene is telling us about pembersihan saf. Allah chooses the best among the best to defend Islam. And this is still happening even now.

Okay, I kinda think this is finished. Hope it will give some sort of pengajaran for you guys who actually spared your anatomy studying time to read this. InsyaAllah.

Amin.
